Guests at Plume Villas have access to the cellar door, cuisine and hospitality on hand at Plume Restaurant, a relaxed stroll from their private and comfortable luxury accommodation. Enjoy a superb meal while you take in the views!
Plume Restaurant seats up to 90 people across its indoor and outdoor areas, and cosy areas such as the Wine Library, Nest and bar allow for smaller and more intimate gatherings, or a drink before your meal. As the cellar door for Runner Duck Estate Vineyard, a 5-hectare boutique vineyard under the same ownership as Plume Villas, Plume Restaurant showcases Runner Duck’s commitment to producing high quality, hand-tended, limited production wines in a range of styles. Tastings are available in the dedicated cellar door section of the building, and all of our currently available vintages are on the wine list in the restaurant.
The requirement of the NZ government is that hospitality venues are required to ensure that all guests aged 12 and over are double vaccinated for bookings from 03/12/21 until further notice. Whereas this directive does not apply to Plume Villas , considering our synergy of properties and our risk analysis conducted we have decided to follow the double vaccine mandate.
Hence Plume Villas has taken the decision based on the above that full vaccine proof would be necessary for staff and customers for property access.
Please indicate below that you acknowledge this requirement before proceeding to book.
Proof of vaccination will be required until our risk analysis shows the welcome of unvaccinated guests.

Plume Cafe Matakana
Right on the roundabout, Plume Cafe is a little taste of home when you venture away from your villa. It's a great place for breakfast before hitting the markets, shops and galleries. Or, if you've ventured further afield and you’re in need of refreshment, it's the perfect pit-stop for lunch or afternoon tea on your way back to our villas.
Our very own bakery is on the cafe site, producing fresh bread and sweet treats for cafe patrons, or to take home with you.
